The Mosinee Area Action Club (MAAC) thanks YOU for your assistance in helping the victims of Hurricane Sandy. With your help, our community can make a difference....

The goal: To fill a 53 foot semi-trailer with disaster relief supplies and send it on its way to New Jersey by Sunday, November 18.
Central Wisconsin donations are being transported to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) a subsidiary of
Feeding America. This site supplies the needs of 17 food pantries in some of the most devastated areas of New Jersey. In addition, the Lions Club International is providing on site support in New Jersey. Roehl Transport of Marshfield has generously provided a semi truck and trailer to transport the supplies to the food bank.

HURRICANE SANDY DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS

A Huge Thank you to all those that supported this project!

Hello Everybody THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I met the truck driver at 6:20 this morning and helped him connect to the trailer. Dan the truck driver, is a Georgia Boy and felt the large fur cap was a necessity for travel into Wisconsin. With the items that came in after our boxing party Saturday morning the truck is truly 3/4 loaded. It is well on its way to Elkhorn where Javan Wehmeier and his Lions Club will finish off the load.

Jan and I can't thank all of you enough, your talents, time and hard work have come through again. What you have done will make life brighter for many folks in some of the hardest hit parts of New Jersey.

Happy Thanksgiving to you one and all.

The truck is at the food bank and is being unloaded! Hey, folks you have done the deal!!!!
Roehl's driver Dan the big furry Cap man called to say he had weighed the load and there is more than 36,100 pounds of material on his rig.  That will feed a lot of kids and clean many a kitchen.  Thanks again.
